By  0 Comments

The Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program kicked off its 12th year of mentoring at-risk high school girls in Palm Beach County on October 14 at Café Boulud. New and current mentors, school officials and supporters were present to show their support for the program that serves 2,244 at-risk girls in 116 public high schools throughout South Florida. Founder and president Jennifer Valoppi discussed the recent expansion into all of Palm Beach County’s 24 public high schools. Guests received a direct example of the lasting influence of the program through Women of Tomorrow graduate Francie Delva and current mentee Lindsey Perlman, who shared their stories about how the program influenced their lives and continues to positively affect them today. Notable guests included Deborah Martyn, Dr. Krista Rosenberg, Palm Beach County Commissioner Paulette Burdick, Beth Walton and Debra Vanderhoff.
