Easy Swimsuit Shopping

By  0 Comments

One of the things I love about being a personal stylist is being able to shop some of my favorite local boutiques in the Kansas City area. With summer finally here, swimsuit shopping appointments are filling my calendar.

Since this type of shopping can be overwhelming at times, I want to find stores that exceed my expectations in service, expertise and variety. Operating in Kansas City for over 40 years, Kelly and her team at Swim Quik offer personalized shopping experiences to get you set for the season. They are warm and friendly and their help instantly put me at ease, which is exactly what you want when shopping for something personal such as swimwear. Because they have been around for so long, I even remember getting my swim team suits there when I was little! I am even more impressed that they stock swimwear for specialty fits, including post-mastectomy, long torso, bra sized up to F-cup and full-figure. They literally offer a little something for everyone.

Here are my tips to make your next swimsuit shopping experience the best ever!
• You are always going to look better with a tan. Sometimes I go one step further and get a spray tan before. Trust me, it takes five lbs. off instantly!
• Fitting room lights are scary! No matter what, your skin is always going to glow more in natural sunlight where you are actually wearing your swimsuit. So don’t be too hard on yourself! ■
