Planning Your Dream Wedding: The Details

By  0 Comments

Q. In what order should I be booking or securing details for my wedding?

A. Because of limited dates available, the vendors that are important to secure first are the venue, DJ and photographer. Then couples can focus on one thing at a time rather than making decisions for everything at once, when they might not be ready to make good choices. For all vendors, take the time to sit down and list what is most important to you as a couple; this process will help you narrow down vendors and truly find the ones that are a great fit.

Q. Who should be invited to the rehearsal dinner?

A. Invite those who will be part of the processional and the ceremony and their significant others as well as parents of flower girls and ring bearers that may not already be in the wedding party. Some couples also invite out-of-town guests who will be arriving early. This can create a lengthy list, so an alternative is to provide them with suggestions of local spots and attractions to enjoy on their own. ■
