By  0 Comments

On June 6, 42 Debutantes and 25 Young Men of Distinction were honored at the 47th annual Le Bal de Ballet, Scheherazade. The stage was designed by Newberry Brothers with inspiration from the ballet, Scheherazade, and the story, Arabian Nights. Each honoree had their moment to shine as proud families and friends looked on at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Before the presentation, more than 1,000 guests in formal attire enjoyed a cocktail reception at the Denver Center for Performing Arts. During the presentation, the Honor Guard presented the Colors and Perrin York sang the National Anthem. The receiving party, Chair, Denise Nalen, accompanied by her husband, Tom; Co-Chair, Christian Reid accompanied by her husband, Craig; Honorary Chair, Laura, accompanied by her husband, David; and Denver Ballet Guild President, Pam Gatz, accompanied by her husband Barry, were presented. Past Chair, Hillary Adams, presented Denise Nalen with flowers to show appreciation from the committee. The 2015 Le Bal de Ballet Committee will present the Denver Ballet Guild with a very generous donation to fund grants, scholarships and school programs for our community. To learn more, please visit online.
