The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities presents Art of the State 2016 January 21 through March 27, 2016

This juried exhibition showcases the quality, depth, and diversity of Colorado artists. “Art of the State 2016 is a great follow-up to its 2013 predecessor,” said Collin Parson, Arvada Center exhibition manager, and curator. “I continue to be amazed by the talent in this state as well as the creative scene’s growth and diversity of art. No one will be disappointed with this exhibition as there is something for everyone.” Jurors Gwen Chanzit, Modern Art Curator, Denver Art Museum, Michael Chavez, Public Art Program Manager, Denver Arts & Venues, and Parson selected 148 works by 124 artists to represent art in Colorado being created by both emerging and established artists. All three of the Arvada Center’s galleries, more than 10,000 square feet, are devoted to this celebration of art in Colorado.
