Realtor Shannon Stalling: Going the Extra Mile with Each Client

By  0 Comments

Shannon Stallings enjoys making clients’ dreams become reality. A native of Lodi, she is a wife and a mother of two beautiful daughters who loves to inspire others and strives each day to be the best version of herself.

“I believe nobody is perfect and know that we can always be better. I am a Christian and God is the center of my life. I am married to a wonderful man who has given me another chance at love and continues to support and inspire me in all I do. Life definitely happens when not planned and I thank God each and every day for all that He has given me,” she noted. “I enjoy the outdoors and love to stay active. I also love to cook and be in the kitchen. I feel the kitchen is the heart of your home where everyone gathers and comes together.”

Expertise
Shannon’s path is rich with experience, which gives her the empathy she needs to resolve any issue and help clients find their dream home. Prior to obtaining her real estate license, she was in the medical field; she always had a passion to help others. “I started my career at 18 as a medical assistant. I was a young mother at the time and chose to put my family first. While working at Kaiser for almost 12 years, I climbed the ladder and ended up in administration supporting high leadership,” she explained. “I loved my job, but something was missing.”

During her time at Kaiser, a friend who was a Realtor inspired Shannon with the way she helped many families add value to their lives through home ownership and built relationships with them. Shannon knew she wanted more in her life, so she decided to study for and take the real estate exam. She began her career in resale in Lodi at PMZ, and soon she was offered a job in new home sales, where she traveled and opened and closed several communities.

Gaining Knowledge
“At that time, as a single mother, this was the best option for me. I worked with some amazing people and builders who taught me about the industry and helped so many families build their dream homes. This job was truly rewarding, but I knew God had another plan for me,” she reflected. “My ultimate goal was to be back in my home town, where I could be involved in the community and be a local expert.”

Shannon recently married and decided that her position in new home sales, with long work hours, weekends and commute, was no longer a good fit for her and her family. She and her husband decided it was time to come back home and sell in their home town, where they could be actively involved in the community. “It has been a hard transition for me, but I never knew how happy and healthy having a work-life balance can be,” she smiled.

Keys to Success
She helps others with compassion and drive. Handing keys to a client is the most rewarding feeling ever; for clients who are selling, she’s happy to help them get to their next destination or the next chapter in life. “I treat each and every client as if they are family. I go the extra mile and take my time getting to know them and their specific needs.

“When you hire me as your Realtor, you have a relationship for life. Buying and selling can be a very stressful time and comes with many emotions. I do my best to make each transaction the most memorable positive experience. I am a full-time agent and I will always work around your schedule,” she reiterated. In the community, she’s seeing many young first-time home buyers. “It’s very rewarding to see young families and single moms buying their first home. Rates are still considerably low and now is a great time to buy.

“If you’re selling your home, staging is critical, and first impression is very important. Make sure you price to sell, as the first two weeks are the most important. If you’re looking to buy, make sure you are pre-approved and have a lender who will guide you along the way,” she recommended. “Take time to really know what you want and make sure your Realtor knows all of your needs so he or she can find the perfect home for you.”

In her business, Shannon does everything from the heart. “You will always remember how a person makes you feel; I hope to leave that impression on everyone I meet. Kindness goes a long way, and when you hire me as your Realtor, you will get all of the above.”

“Compassion combined with hard work and knowledge equals success. I hope to help you and your family add value to your life.”
