Carats Jewelry of Stockton: A Gem of a Way to Experience the World

By  0 Comments

We all fantasize about exciting overseas adventures and epic vacations to places such as Germany, Spain or France. But when the budget doesn’t allow for travel abroad, one Stockton business has a modern way for residents to experience these destinations without leaving their own ZIP code.

Located in the prestigious Lincoln Center, Carats Jewelry is a unique business that has been making a name for itself as the go-to jewelry boutique for fashion-minded customers since 1994. Shoppers can enjoy timeless classics and discover brands such as Uno de 50, Lafonn, My Saint My Hero, Tat2, Waxing Poetic and many more sparkling jewelry delights. Co-owners Patricia Lee and Curtis Chong pride themselves on offering customers the right pieces to fit all styles, tastes and budgets.

Global Interest
Pat and Curtis spend a tremendous amount of time seeking out exquisite pieces and brands that set their jewelry selection apart from the competition. The result is a wide variety of impressive choices of jewelry and gems that come from all over the world. Carats offers exciting brands such as Thomas Sabo from Germany, Majorica pearls from Spain, a very popular line of Paris bracelets from France and, of course, PANDORA, which is created in Denmark.

“We are a one-stop shop for the world-famous PANDORA jewelry line,” shared Pat. “We are actually Stockton’s largest dealer of PANDORA jewelry and we have been for over ten years. This brand has had a strong following amongst customers for years because it allows them to buy charms that tell the story of their lives and preserve everlasting moments. PANDORA helps to celebrate unforgettable moments in a way that is truly fashionable and beautiful.”

Uno de 50 Trunk Show
“One of our most popular lines from Spain is Uno de 50, a Spanish handcrafted jewelry brand inspired by unique designs and individuality,” Pat noted. “This line is not only beautiful, it offers customers the ability to mix and match necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings to create a bold look. Fans of Uno de 50 will be excited to know that Carats is hosting a huge Uno de 50 trunk show on November 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will be a wonderful opportunity for our customers to purchase unique pieces brought in specifically for the trunk show.”

ALEX AND ANI
Although exquisite jewelry sourced from dream locales is appealing to many, just as many shoppers prefer to support products that are made in the U.S.A. Another new line in Pat and Curtis’ inventory fits that request perfectly. ALEX AND ANI, touted as “Jewelry with Positive Energy,” is proudly designed and made in the U.S.A., a fact that many Carats customers appreciate. “We committed to carrying these pieces not just because they are amazing, we brought that line to our community because of the ALEX AND ANI mission to create meaningful, eco-conscious jewelry and accessories to positively empower people,” Pat added. “This company also supports national charities and Curtis and I admire that very much.”

Lizzy James
Another notable brand at Carats, one that originates from a little closer to home, is Lizzy James. This growing company, located in Southern California, has earned a robust following thanks to their striking wrap bracelets that can double as necklaces. But not only is the jewelry catching the eye of countless fashionistas, the story of the artist’s humble beginnings is compelling as well.

“This company came to be while the designer, Lizzy James, was undergoing treatment for breast cancer,” Pat shared. “During this difficult time, she channeled her energy and talent into creating unique artisan jewelry, including the original wrap bracelet. The result was a collection of stylish, versatile pieces that celebrate the strength and resiliency in all of us. Our customers truly love these pieces and we are proud to bring Lizzy’s jewelry and inspiring story to this community.”

Style That Fits You
“We have something for everyone here,” Pat concluded. “We specialize in a variety of items for special occasions and we also offer casual jewelry and accessories for everyday life. We carry products from all over the world, or from right here in America. Those who visit us know that they can find something to express individuality, show affection and capture precious moments of life. Customer satisfaction is always in the forefront of our minds as we continually work to ensure that everyone leaves our store with a smile that sparkles as brightly as the jewelry they’ve purchased.” ■
