Makes 36 bars
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes

2½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
¾ cup finely chopped pecans
1 egg
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted cold butter, cut into cubes
4 ounces each orange marmalade, seedless raspberry jam and strawberry preserves
1 heaping cup dark chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously coat a 13×9 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, pecans and egg until thoroughly combined. Using a pastry blender or your hands, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside 1 and a half cups of the crumb mixture. Press remaining mixture on the bottom of prepared pan. Stir jam to soften and carefully spread on top of the dough in three even sections. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips, followed by the reserved crumb mixture distributed evenly over the top. Bake for 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely in pan before cutting into bars.
